  • You are a Grand Prix team manager with a budget of £60 Million. Your task is to buy seven elements for your Formula one outfit - two drivers, two chassis, two engines and a tyre package. Note: your total spend must also exceed £55 million .. so no trying to deliberately win the wooden spoon!!!

  • Only one entry will be accepted per Team Manager. Where two or more identical teams are registered, positions will be based on the date of entry (i.e. the team that registers first will always be classified above the team that registers second)

  • Race Points are awarded for the performance of each element of your team at each GP.

  • Championship points are awarded based on race positions, the race winner will receive the maximum points (equal to the number of entries), with each subsequent position scoring one point less, down to 1 point for last place.

  • You must nominate one race in the season to be your 'Bonus race'. At that race, your top element will score double points. Bonus race selections will be revealed once the season is underway on a race by race basis, so no one will have visibility of which races other entrants have picked when entering their team.

  • For FF1-2024 there will be four transfer windows.

Team selections can be changed any number of times prior to the closing date. Once the season starts, they will be locked down and can then only be changed again during the designated transfer windows. Note, teams which are changed will be assigned a new team entry no. meaning they will drop to the bottom of the entry list and so will always finish behind any teams previously entered with the same selection.

The transfer windows can be seen on the calendar page.

  • Cancelled Bonus Races

Teams who chose a race that is cancelled for their Bonus race will not have the selection changed automatically for them. This must be done during the next Transfer window. If your bonus race is cancelled after the final transfer window, you will be randomly assigned one of the remaining races instead.

The transfer windows can be seen on the calendar page.

  • Sprint Events

For Sprint Qualifying Events, FF1 qualifying points will be awarded based on the top three finishing positions in the Sprint Qualifying Race on the Saturday.

  • Remember, you must not exceed your budget of £60 Million or select the same item twice.

  • In the event of a team being duplicated or ties, the team that registers first will always be classified ahead of subsequent entries.

  • The closing date for FF1-2024 entries is .

  • Entries can now be modified on-line right up until the closing date. Please note however that when changes are made the registration date for the team is updated. Thus teams that are constantly being 'adjusted' will drop down the entry list ...

  • Junior entrants (those under 16) will contest their own junior championship in addition to competing in the main competition.

  • For 2024 there will once again be a prize for the top Lucky Dip team. However, in order to qualify as a Dipper, entrants must take the first team presented to them. Hitting the Lucky Dip Spin button repeatedly until you find a combination you like doesn't count!

The transfer windows can be seen on the calendar page.

  • For FF1 purposes "Retirement from Race" can be a DNS (Did Not Start), a DNF (Did Not Finish) or DNQ (Did Not Qualify).

  • Each team manager must pick their own team. Junior entrants are welcome, but they must be able to do the maths themselves when picking a team - adults are exempt from this clause!

  • Prizes will be determined after the final entry has closed so that the prize structure can be optimised based on the number of entrants.

  • An entry fee of £5.00 is payable per team. All monies collected as entry fees will be issued as prizes at the end of the season. FF1-2024 is a non-profit making league run for the enjoyment of family and friends.

  • Where disputes arise regarding results the organisers decision is VERY final!

  • Points are awarded based on the official FIA results. If a driver is replaced during the season the new driver will automatically become your fantasy F1 selection.
